USF Faces Big Test Today

We are back, Revolution Sports has been quiet recently (we have lives like you) but we are going to work hard to catch everyone up on what is going on with USF athletics. The big news is the men's basketball team and its Big East Tournament win yesterday. They held off Depaul, the first victory in tournament history for the Bulls with a 58 to 49 win. Jones had 20 and the team played well, even though they did not attempt one three point bucket, showing they were able to dominate inside and get Jones going underneath the basket, instead of taking the jump shots, something we struggle with. The win is huge for the team as they continue to build momentum and build after during this record breaking year. With UConn loosing yesterday to St. Johns, the Bulls may be back on the bubble as Uconn has its hopes dashed away.

Today the Bulls face #17 Georgetown, the team that USF upset at their house during the 4 game win streak. Georgetown has been up and down, but with PG Freeman back(diagnosed with diabetes) they are strong and with Monroe in the center, the Bulls won't sneak up on them this time. The Bulls tip off at noon in MSG and on ESPN so make sure to catch the game! GO BULLS!
