Ouch....

USF baseball, one of the favorites to contend for the Big East title this year took a beating last night, a true beat down. With a 15-2 lose to the Miami Hurricanes in the Big 4 challenge at Steinbrenner Field, the Bulls are now 1-6 to begin the season.

The Bulls offense is struggling, unable to score more than 4 runs or more in their last 4 games. The defense is struggling, giving up 2 runs in the first inning last night and failing to help the pitching staff which has been solid enough but without the offense and defense to help support them, the team is continuing to struggle and the record is showing it. The Bulls continue this series against FSU and UF, the gators swept the Bulls to begin the season and FSU is always a powerhouse in the nation so it does not look good for the Bulls. The season could slip away from them early if they are not able to rally and steal a win or two this week and try to right the ship before entering the tough Big East conference. They may need a miracle at this point.
