He's Back...Again

USF running back Moise Plancher has been granted a 6th year of eligibility by the NCAA. Plancher was the starting back for most of last year, rushing for over 500 yards and 7 scores, he has over 900 yards and 12 touchdowns in his career. A career that has been riddled with injuries, 2005 with knee issues after just one carry then in 2006 with an ACL tear took him out for the season.

Plancher has dealt with off field issues as well, loosing his younger cousin who died suddenly while in a work out session at UCF. With the dismissal of Mike Ford Plancher should be the starter or at least the favorite for the next season. He is a team leader and has years of experience, something the other 9 running backs do not have at this point. It is nice to see the NCAA and athletic department work hard for a good player and a better person and give him another chance after most of his playing time was taken away from him.

Good luck Mo' and stay healthy for us!
